When you think about the few days of your life that will be memorialized forever in photos and video, your wedding day is, of course, at the top of the list. So, naturally you want everything about your appearance to be perfect for that special day. This includes your dress, your makeup, your accessories, your jewelry, and - maybe most of all - your hair.

Months ahead of the big day, you might begin to be nervous about how your hair is going to look. But all that anxiety is totally and completely wasted! By keeping in mind a couple of simple guidelines, you can rest assured that your hair will be flawless and beautiful on your wedding day, and not have to give it a second thought.

First, remember that your hair doesn’t need to be a modern art sculpture just because it’s a special day. Simplicity has a definite beauty that can’t be overstated. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and gorgeous in the hairdo that you choose - not that people are impressed with the intricacy of the way your hair weaves together.

Secondly, make sure that you try out your hairdo a few times before the big event. Having a plan in your head does not necessarily translate to a beautiful ‘do ON your head. Sometimes it takes a couple of trial runs to get it right

Lastly, don’t stress over it. If you can’t seem to get a style you love happening on your own, ask one of your family members or girlfriends for help. Don’t be shy! This is what bridesmaids are for!
